How does Laser Genesis work?
By gently warming the middle layer of skin, called the dermis, Laser Genesis stimulates an increase in collagen production to smooth the skin’s texture. At the same time, the Laser Genesis’ energy is absorbed by the tiny blood vessels that cause persistent facial redness, in turn, disabling these vessels and reducing the redness.
What are the possible side effects?
Redness of the area treated is the most common side effect and typically lasts 2-12
hours. Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing, experiencing a gentle warming
of the skin during the treatment. You can immediately return to normal activities and
apply make-up as desired.
How many treatments will I need?
For optimal results, most patients require 4-6 treatments. Improvements may be subtle,
but most will see a significant improvement after the third treatment. Laser Genesis
treatments can be performed every 4-6 weeks.
