How does it work?
Using our Cutera Xeo Laser System, the pigment in hair is targeted by laser light that permanently destroys hair during the active growth phase. Two weeks after treatment, the hair will fall out.
Is it safe?
Advances in technology allow for destruction of hair while safely preserving the surrounding skin and tissue. Although patients experience few side effects, the most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin, similar to a sunburn. There is no down time after laser treatments. Our Cutera Xeo Laser is safe to use on all skin types, year around.
What does it feel like?
Some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. No anesthesia or pain medicine is typically required.
How many treatments does it take?
Typically six or more treatments are required depending on location of hair, type of hair, gender, age, and other variables. Only hairs in an active growth phase can be destroyed by laser light. Since not all hairs on the body are actively growing simultaneously, multiple treatments are necessary.
What does is cost?
